In May of this year, Decontamination Technical Services Ltd, with the support of Local Enterprise Office Offaly, picked up the Midlands Regional Award at the 25th National Enterprise Awards, held in Dublin’s Mansion House.
The overall National Enterprise Award went to SPRYT — a virtual assistant that helps patients manage appointments through simple text messages. It can confirm attendance, reallocate cancelled slots in real time, and cut down on no-shows, saving both doctors and consultants valuable time.
Speaking at the Mansion House, Minister Dillon said the National Enterprise Awards shine a light on the innovation, resilience, and ambition that drive Ireland’s business community. He noted that the standard of finalists keeps getting stronger each year, showcasing the incredible talent and determination of entrepreneurs nationwide. These businesses, he added, are not only creating jobs but also shaping the future of local economies and communities.
